How it works

LENGTH OF CONTRACTS:
  • Our prices are based on yearly contracts.
  • You can upgrade contracts at any time. Simply send us an email and we will make the upgrade for you and charge the difference in account pricing directly to your card on file.
PAYMENT & ENTRY FEES:
  • If there is an entry fee, GrantPad will take 10% commission per entry free. This fee includes the 4% credit card or Paypal fee.
  • GrantPad will collect and send submission fees to the account owner once the deadline has passed via check, or paypal.
  • No merchant account required to accept submissions. GrantPad will send them directly to you after the 10% fee is deducted from each entry.
ENTRY RULES:
  • Eligibility – GrantPad is open to applicants 18 years or older from any country.
  • Entry Fees – All entries must include the appropriate entry fee in USD payable online.
  • The applicant must be the sole owner of all content submitted.
VOTING PROCESS:
  • Grant creators can opt to select a jury to select a winner or decide who receives the award on their own. The jury can be invited via email directly through GrandPad.
  • The voting process for both the jury and the creator is the same – simply view all submissions and click "Vote" next to the submission(s) that you would like to vote for. You can always click "Unvote" to remove or change your vote before the voting deadline.
  • On your Jury Voting Report you will be able to see which jury members have completed voting. You can select specific members and click "Email Selected" to remind them to vote if necessary.
  • You will be able to see voting tallies on your scholarship home page.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
  • If there is an entry fee, GrantPad will take 10% commission per entry free. This fee includes the 4% credit card or Paypal fee.
  • All entry fees and scholarships must be in the U.S. currency.
  • A valid credit card is required for all paid accounts.
  • First-time grant creators will be required to secure the grant money in an escrow account to assure that the awards will be distributed.
  • Charges are non-refundable.
  • Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist. Any artwork or photograph used by GrantPad shall carry the artist’s credit line.
  • Grantpad does not assume any responsibility for artwork submitted in violation of competition rules, or for those which violate copyright regulations.
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

We do not tolerate spam. Examples of spam include:

  • Emailing or direct messaging people that you have no personal connection to, especially when it's done en masse.
  • Using email lists that have been procured from third parties.
  • Promoting your project on other GrantPad grant pages; poaching applicants from other GrantPad grants.

The success of your grant relies on you sharing your grant with friends, fans, and followers, however invading the inboxes and social networks of people that you have no personal connection to is unacceptable. We take a hard line on spamming because it reflects you and all other GrantPad projects poorly. It also flags your grant for review and possible removal from the GrantPad community. Furthermore, violating these rules or our Terms of Use may result in your account being deleted and/or your project being suspended.

GRANT CREATOR GUIDELINES

The following guidelines are for grant creators. They’re meant to give grant creators a clear sense of the types of grants accepted by GrantPad.
GrantPad is a platform created to facilitate the process of creating and applying for grants in Art, Education, Photography, and Research.

Projects that do not incorporate art, education, photography and/or research will not be accepted. Creators cannot offer equity or financial incentives (ownership, share of profits, repayment/loans, cash-value equivalents, etc.) other than the given reward amount.
